DMCA Policy

1. Infringement Notification

If you believe that any material available on our platform (including products within our Grooming & Tech, Outdoor, and Toys & Training collections) infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective, the notification must include the following information:

  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyrighted work.

  • Identification of Work: Clear identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.

  • Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing (e.g., product links or descriptions) and information reasonably sufficient to permit Westpawpets to locate the material.

  • Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.

  • Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  • Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Counter-Notification Process

If material you posted on the site has been removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. It must contain:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.

  • Identification of the material that has been removed and the location where it appeared before removal.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which the address is located (or Hong Kong, for international residents).

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

Westpawpets operates with full transparency and integrity. We maintain a policy that provides for the termination of account privileges or partnership agreements for users or suppliers who are deemed to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights.
