1. Mandatory Inspection & Discrepancy Reporting

Upon the delivery of your Westpawpets pet products (including Grooming & Tech devices, Outdoor Gear, and Training tools), we require a prompt inspection.

  • Should you identify any inherent manufacturing defects, electronic malfunctions, or logistical errors, please notify our support team at support@westpawpets.com within 48 hours.

  • This immediate reporting is essential for us to initiate an expedited resolution, such as a priority replacement or full credit.

2. Prerequisites for Return Eligibility

We offer a 30-day statutory return window, commencing from the date of confirmed delivery. To maintain the hygiene and safety standards of our pet collections, returned items must strictly satisfy the following conditions:

  • The product must remain in its original, unused, and pristine condition.

  • All structural tags, technical manuals, brand packaging, and protective seals must be intact.

  • Due to hygiene safety, items must be free of pet hair, odors, or any signs of field use.

  • A valid Order Confirmation or digital receipt must accompany the request.

3. Formal Return Authorization Protocol

To maintain operational integrity, Westpawpets follows a standardized Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process:

  • Initial Request: All returns must be formally requested via support@westpawpets.com.

  • Authorization: Once approved, you will receive a specific RMA number and designated return facility address.

  • Unauthorized Returns: Any parcels dispatched to our facilities without a prior RMA will be rejected and ineligible for reimbursement.

4. Allocation of Logistical Liabilities

  • Quality-Related Returns: If the return is necessitated by a product defect or an error on our part (e.g., incorrect size or model sent), Westpawpets will assume full liability for the return shipping expenses.

  • Elective Returns: For returns based on subjective preferences or a "change of mind," the customer is responsible for all associated return shipping costs. Original shipping fees incurred at the point of sale are strictly non-refundable.

5. Exclusionary Categories (Non-Returnable Goods)

Due to hygiene regulations and the specialized nature of pet products, the following are exempt from return:

  • Customized Merchandise: Any pet gear tailored or personalized to specific customer requirements.

  • Consumables & Hygiene Items: Opened grooming solutions, health-related products, or toys that have been utilized by a pet.

  • Final Sale Assets: Items explicitly designated as "Final Sale" or digital gift certificates cannot be returned or exchanged.

6. European Union 14-Day Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, residents of the European Union have the legal right to cancel or return their order for any reason within 14 days of receipt. To qualify, the merchandise must still adhere to our "original condition" and "unused" requirements.

7. Remittance and Finalization of Refunds

Upon the receipt and successful quality verification of the returned item:

  • Verification: Our quality control team will perform a final inspection to confirm eligibility, ensuring the pet gear meets all safety and resale standards.

  • Disbursement: Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment instrument used during the transaction.

  • Timeframes: Please allow 10 business days for internal processing. Following our approval, your financial institution may require an additional 3 to 5 business days to reflect the credit on your statement.
